About Us
The Eldo Urban Committee consists of the following Portfolios:
Chairperson –
Duncan Esterhuysen
Responsible for overseeing that all the activities in the different portfolios are timelessly executed.
Security –
John Wright
As part of the ward CPF John along with the neighbourhood GPF members and the security firms assist with patrolling the neighbourhood and providing support to members when incidents occur.
New Memberships & Gardens –
Jonell van Schalkwyk
Reaching out to new residents moving in as well as maintaining the community gardens.
Secretary –
Celeste Ritson
Compiling minutes of all monthly and AGM meetings.
Infrastructure –
Ben van Niekerk
Responsible for all the Eldo Urban camera infrastructure. Maintenance thereof as well as installation of new equipment.
Committee Support – Vaughan Turner
Providing support to all the different portfolios for execution of their tasks.
Finance –
Suzette Kruger
Keeps a watchful eye on the Eldo Urban finances. Monitoring of the debtors accounts as well as management of payments.
Community Outreaching
*Note
The Eldo Urban booming off initiative is not only driving the booming off of the neighbourhood. Community Outreaching is also done.

Braais are being held where Eldo Urban reaches out to the Security Communities providing them with nice hotdogs.

A Neighbourhood run held where Eldo Urban reached out to the community to participate to meet your neighbours.

Community gardens were established to create small gardens for relaxing.

A Community ‘boekeboks’ was planted to encourage reading.

Neighbourhood ward representation was ensured to make sure we have a voice for Eldo Urban regarding service delivery from COT.
